At Joshiz Luxury Cars, we take pride in maintaining our fleet in pristine condition to deliver a first-class driving experience. To ensure fairness and transparency, this Car Damages Policy outlines your responsibilities and the procedures followed in case of vehicle damage during your rental period.
1. Vehicle Inspection Before & After Rental
- Each vehicle is thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and photographed before handover.
- Customers are requested to review and confirm the condition report at the time of pick-up or delivery.
- Upon return, the vehicle will undergo a post-rental inspection to identify any new damages.
2. Customer Responsibility
- The renter is fully responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period, regardless of fault.
- This includes but is not limited to:
- Exterior and interior damages (scratches, dents, cracks, stains, burns, etc.)
- Wheel, tire, and rim damage
- Windshield or window cracks
- Damage to accessories or electronic systems
- Undercarriage or engine damage due to negligent driving
3. Security Deposit & Damage Charges
- A refundable security deposit is collected before the rental begins.
- In case of any damage:
- The repair cost (based on authorized service center estimation) will be deducted from the security deposit.
- If repair costs exceed the deposit, the renter is liable to pay the balance amount immediately.
- If no damages are found, the full security deposit will be refunded within 5–7 working days.
4. Insurance Coverage
- All vehicles are covered under comprehensive insurance, which includes third-party liability and limited damage cover.
- However, insurance does not cover:
- Driver negligence or intoxication
- Unauthorized drivers or unapproved routes
- Damage due to racing, off-roading, or reckless driving
- Interior damage, tire/rim damage, and towing due to misuse
In such cases, the renter will bear full financial responsibility for the damage.
5. Accidents & Reporting Procedure
- In the event of an accident, theft, or breakdown, the renter must:
- Immediately inform Joshiz Luxury Cars at the contact details below.
- File a police report (FIR) if required.
- Cooperate fully with our insurance and recovery team.
- Failure to report an incident within a reasonable time may result in loss of insurance coverage and full liability to the renter.
6. Replacement Vehicle
- If the rented vehicle becomes unusable due to an accident or breakdown caused by no fault of the renter, a replacement car (subject to availability) will be provided.
- If the damage is due to negligence, replacement is not guaranteed, and additional charges may apply.
7. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes regarding damage estimation or charges will be reviewed using inspection reports and photographic evidence.
- Joshiz Luxury Cars’ assessment will be considered final and binding.
